Definition of TPE
Thermoplastic Elastomer, whose English name is Thermoplastic Elastomer, is usually abbreviated as TPE and is also known as thermoplastic rubber

Main features
It has the elasticity of rubber, does not require vulcanization, can be directly processed into shape, and can be reused. It is replacing rubber in various fields.
Application fields of TPE
The automotive industry: TPE is widely used in the automotive industry, such as in automotive sealing strips, interior parts, shock-absorbing parts, etc.
Electronics and electrical appliances: TPE is widely used in the electronics and electrical appliances field, such as wires and cables, plugs, casings, etc.
Medical devices: TPE is also widely used in the medical device field, such as infusion tubes, surgical gloves, and medical device handles, etc.
Daily life: TPE is also widely used in daily life, such as slippers, toys, sports equipment, etc.

Process flow and equipment - Mixing materials
Premixing method
All the materials are pre-mixed in the high-speed mixer and then enter the cold mixer, and are directly fed into the twin-screw extruder for granulation.
Partial premixing method
Put SEBS/SBS into the high-speed mixer, add part or all of the oil and other additives for premixing, and then enter the cold mixer. Then, feed the premixed main material, fillers, resin, oil, etc. in separate ways through the weight loss scale, and extruder for granulation.

Separate feeding
All the materials were separated and measured respectively by loss-in-weight scales before being fed into the extruder for extrusion granulation.
